ADM2587E: Signal and Power Isolated RS-485 Transceiver
The ADM2582E/ADM2587E are fully integrated isolated data transceivers with ±15KVESD protection for high-speed communication applications on multipoint transmission lines. The ADM2582E/ADM2587E include an integrated isolated DC/DC power supply, eliminating the need for an external DC/DC isolation module. The device is designed for balanced transmission lines and complies with ANSI/TIA/EIA RS-485-A-98 and ISO8482:1987(E) standards. Using Analog Devices' ICoupler® technology, it integrates a three-channel isolator, a three-state differential line driver, a differential input receiver, and an Iso power DC/DC converter in a single package. The device operates from a single 5V or 3.3V supply, enabling a fully isolated RS-485 solution.
